BPM Checker ("the app") is an iOS app that detects the tempo of music playing around you. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. In short: the app itself collects nothing about you, and the only data collected comes from the advertising component, described below.
The app uses your device's microphone to listen to music and estimate its beats per minute. All audio analysis happens live, entirely on your iPhone. Audio is never recorded, never stored, and never sent to us or to any third party. Nothing leaves your device.
None. BPM Checker has no accounts, no login, and no analytics of our own. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
The app is free and shows a small banner ad served by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process limited data on our behalf:
BPM Checker requests non-personalized ads: ads are shown based on general context, not on a profile built from your activity, and the app does not track you across other apps or websites. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own policies. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
The app is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can limit ad tracking at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and reset your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising on your iPhone.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
